Scottie finally made it into the 10′s with his LS/VTEC Turbocharged Honda Civic! The car ran a best of 10.94 last night at the Kinston Drag Strip.
Specs:
- Stock Bottom End LS/VTEC – B16 Head, B18B Block
- TS Top Mount Turbo Manifold
- GT4088
- 24.5/8-13 MT ET Streets
- 93 Octane!

Starting May 6, 2010 Kinston Drag Strip will be holding an Imports/Sport Compact Head’s Up Drag Race on the first Thursday of every month. There will be a 100% Payout!
We should be there with a few cars, and I hope to see some good competition!

We had to run the car on 93 octane tonight due to the fact that we where unable to get some 110. Because of this Jared turned it down to 21psi on high boost.
Final and best run:
60: 1.744
1/8: 7.389 @ 96mph
1/4 11.462 @ 123mph
Temp was approx 40 degrees, the track was COLD. However the car seemed to run pretty good and overall we are extremely happy with the first time out. Jared was not launching the car on the slicks, he was just easing into it, which is pretty awesome considering his 60ft.
